Wedding Reviews

Wedding Couple

“Wow! Even with many last minute curve balls (thanks COVID) the staff created an atmosphere of elegance, joy, and support. Kathy Sanders thought of everything to help plan, Bethany gave words of encourage and reassurance the day of, and the hotel staff’s service was impeccable. The food was delicious. At the end of the night we found our room laid out beautifully with a bottle of Champagne and a spread of food we hadn’t gotten to eat. They thought of everything to add touches of luxury to the day. And the view from the Terrace was breath taking! It is the perfect setting for a dream come true.”

Wedding Hotel Bethlehem

“My husband and I are a couple whose original wedding (11/7/2020) was cancelled because of COVID-19 and rescheduled for 12/4/2021. From beginning to end we had a phenomenal experience working with Kathy to make our wedding day perfect. She was professional and extremely responsive throughout the planning, rescheduling, and re-planning process. In short, she was wonderful to work with. The venue is just stunning – we were lucky enough to have our wedding there while it was decorated for Christmas, and it was just so classic and gorgeous. The food was delicious; every vendor we worked with was excellent (we used almost entirely vendors from the Referred Vendors list from the Hotel); and each staff member we encountered was just amazing. Our guests were so impressed with the venue and the food. I could not recommend this venue enough to prospective brides.”

Wedding Decor

“Over three months later, and our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was at Historic Hotel Bethlehem! The entire experience truly felt like a dream. We were devastated when we needed to postpone our wedding from August 2020 to July 2021. However, Hotel B was extremely understanding and flexible! Kelsey was incredibly responsive during our planning period from December 2020 until May 2021. Bethany took over from there and continued to provide great service and answer all our questions. We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at the Hotel as well, and we were stunned at how lovely it was! Amazing service and our family and bridal party raved about the food! It was all so convenient to practice the ceremony and just walk right upstairs to dinner. Afterwords freshen up in our hotel rooms and head out down Main Street to continue the festivities (of course). The day of our wedding I felt so relaxed based on the staff and our coordinators preparedness. We had our ceremony in the Mural Ballroom and then headed upstairs for cocktail hour and reception in the Grand Ballroom! My husband and I really appreciated the hospitality suite complete with drinks and our cocktail hour food for us and the bridal party. It was great to fuel out before heading out to chat with our guests! I cannot stress this enough—the staff at Hotel Bethlehem is AMAZING! I truly felt special as we constantly had staff (shoutout to Martin!) check on us, getting us drinks, notifying us our entrees had arrived, etc. Not having to worry about moving decor, guest books, etc and having it all taken care of is a DREAM. At the end of the night a bottle of chilled champagne and our wedding cupcakes were waiting for my husband and I in our bridal suite. So sweet! I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a wedding venue in the Lehigh Valley you need to book Hotel Bethlehem!! Thank you all again!”

Wedding Couple

“We had an absolutely AMAZING wedding day, thanks to the help and hospitality of Hotel Bethlehem. Kathy and Bethany were fantastic at making sure that everything was decorated and set up exactly how we wanted. Kara was awesome and didn’t let one thing go wrong during the reception. We would highly recommend having any event at the hotel, especially with this groups of people! Thank you for making our special day absolutely perfect!”

Table Setting

“Hotel Bethlehem was the perfect venue. We searched throughout the whole Lehigh Valley for just the right place to hold the reception after a church wedding. We looked at barns, wineries, country clubs, restaurants and hotels. We chose Hotel Bethlehem for it’s history, charm, location, view, reputation and ability to accommodate overnight guests. It was also great for the pre-wedding get together, after wedding late night party and after wedding brunch! I had no idea how important the person you work with at your chosen facility would be, nor how a seasoned team at the facility really matters. Every employee at Hotel Bethlehem was accommodating and helpful. Kathy Sanders is the consummate wedding concierge. Her experience and poise were impeccable throughout our whole planning, covid delay and execution of our daughter’s flawless reception. I can’t thank Kathy enough for helping this frazzled MOB/wedding planner! We had about 135 guests attend in the Grand Ballroom, which was the perfect size with lots of room to spread out and not feel congested. It enabled us to have the “Magic Mirror” photo booth from Rockin Ramaley set up in a corner in the ballroom so our guests didn’t have to miss out on anything.”
