our policies

Our policies are designed to ensure a positive guest environment for all parties experiencing our unique property.

Please acquaint yourself with the policies outlined below before your arrival, to avoid misunderstandings during your stay with us.

Cancellation Policy

All hotel reservations (except Special Event reservations, see “Special Event Policy”) must be cancelled 24 hours prior to your arrival. Reservations cancelled after 4pm EST the day before your arrival will be charged one night’s room and tax. To cancel your reservation, please contact reservations@hotelbethlehem.com or call 610-625-5000. In order to cancel a reservation made through a third party, please contact the booking agent directly.

Special Event Policy

Special Event dates occur during high demand times in the area. Special Event dates will require a one night’s room and tax deposit. Any reservations cancelled within fourteen (14) days of the arrival date will forfeit said deposit. Special Event dates include, but are not limited to, Musikfest, Celticfest, Lehigh University parent’s weekend, as well as local college and university graduations.

Payment Information

We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash. We do not accept personal checks for room charge payment.

All reservations must have a credit card on file in order to guarantee the reservation. At check in a credit card must be presented to the Front Desk. A hold for the total estimated charges will be held against this card. This hold may take up to fifteen (15) days to be released if alternate payment methods are used.

If the credit card that will be used as payment will not be present at check in or check out, a credit card authorization form must be filled out by the cardholder. In order to receive a credit card authorization form, please contact our reservations department at 610-625-5000.

Check-In/ Check-Out

Our guaranteed check in time is 4pm, day of arrival. We do our best to accommodate early arrivals, however we do not guarantee availability prior to 4pm.

Check out time is 12pm. Late check outs can be arranged on a case by case basis with the Front Desk. Any departure later than 12pm is subject to a half day charge.

Management on Duty (MOD) Program

We are committed to providing you with an experience that fully meets your expectations. If for any reason you feel we have fallen short, please contact the Manager On Duty by dialing 0 from your in room phone or by requesting to speak with them at the Front Desk. A Manager On Duty is on property twenty-four (24) hours a day.

Pet Policy

We are a pet friendly hotel. We allow one pet per room, and charge a $75 deep cleaning fee. This fee includes a pet bed and bowls, with a special pet room service menu available. Please give prior notice that you are bringing a pet in order for us to arrange for these accommodations. If you have pet allergies, please give prior notice so we can locate you away from our pet rooms.


Parking for our overnight guests is available behind the hotel in our parking deck. The charge for parking is $10 per vehicle per night. On check in, a parking pass will be issued to you for each vehicle. Please make sure that this pass is displayed prominently on your dashboard for the duration of your stay. We also provide valet service Friday at 4pm though Sunday 12pm. Guests can use this service on the weekends for $15 per night.

Due to limited availability, parking on-site for our event guests is on a first come, first serve basis. We do have alternate parking available, from which a complimentary shuttle will run for the duration of the event.

Lost & Found

Any items left in public areas or guest rooms are kept in Lost and Found for ninety (90) days. If you have lost an item during your stay, please contact our housekeeping department at 610-625-2228. Please have your room number and date of stay ready. We will be more than happy to ship items back to your residence, at your cost.

Age Requirement

All rooms must have at least one guest twenty-one (21) years of age or older present in the room at all times.

Smoking Policy

We are a 100% non-smoking hotel. Any guests smoking in the building will be charged $250 per instance. Smoking is allowed twenty-five (25) feet from hotel entrances.
