Our policies are designed to ensure a positive guest environment for all parties experiencing our unique property.
Please acquaint yourself with the policies outlined below before your arrival, to avoid misunderstandings during your stay with us.
Cancellation Policy
All hotel reservations (except Special Event reservations, see “Special Event Policy”) must be canceled 24 hours prior to your arrival. Reservations canceled after 4 pm EST the day before your arrival will be charged one night’s room and tax. To cancel your reservation, please contact reservations@hotelbethlehem.com or call (855) 264-2598. In order to cancel a reservation made through a third party, please contact the booking agent directly.
Special Event Policy
Special Event dates occur during high demand times in the area. Special Event dates will require a deposit. Special Event dates have specific cancellation policies, and vary per Event. Special Event dates include, but are not limited to, Musikfest, Celticfest, Lehigh University parent’s weekend, as well as local college and university graduations.
Payment Information
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash. We do not accept personal checks for room charge payment. All reservations must have a credit card on file in order to guarantee the reservation.
Check-In/ Check-Out
Our check in time is 4pm, day of arrival. We do our best to accommodate early arrivals, however we do not guarantee availability prior to 4pm.
Check out time is 11am. Late check outs can be arranged based on availabilty with the Front Desk. Any departure later than 11am is subject to a half day charge.
Management on Duty (MOD) Program
We are committed to providing you with an experience that fully meets your expectations. If for any reason you feel we have fallen short, please contact the Manager On Duty by dialing 0 from your in room phone or by requesting to speak with them at the Front Desk. A Manager On Duty is on property twenty-four (24) hours a day.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted. Guests found with pets in their room will be charged a $250 deep cleaning fee. Historic Hotel Bethlehem welcomes Certified Service Dogs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, which states: A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not quality as service animals under the ADA.
Parking
Parking for our overnight guests is available behind the hotel in our parking deck. The charge for parking is $10 per vehicle per night. On check in, a parking pass will be issued to you for each vehicle. Two charging stations for electric vehicles are located on C deck.
Due to limited availability, parking on-site for our event guests is on a first come, first serve basis. We do have alternate parking available, from which a complimentary shuttle will run for the duration of the event.
Lost & Found
Any items left in public areas or guest rooms are kept in Lost and Found for ninety (90) days. If you have lost an item during your stay, please contact our housekeeping department at 610-625-2228. Please have your room number and date of stay ready. We will be more than happy to ship items back to your residence, at your cost.
Do Not Disturb
We understand and respect your need for privacy. The hotel reserves the right to visually inspect all guest rooms every 24 hours to ensure the well-being of our guests and confirm the condition of the room.
Age Requirement
All rooms must have at least one guest twenty-one (21) years of age or older present in the room at all times.
Smoking Policy
We are a 100% non-smoking hotel. Any guests smoking in the building will be charged $250 per instance. Smoking is allowed twenty-five (25) feet from hotel entrances.
