This donation will go directly to the Earthquake/Tsunami victims in Japan.
Mr. Costello delivered the check to the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, May 5th, he was accompanied by his wife, Kathy and son’s, Sean and Jake. At the Embassy, the Costello’s were joined by United States Representative to the 15th District, Congressman Charlie Dent. Japanese Ambassador, Ichiro Fujisaki was very gracious and invited the visitors into his office to have tea. “It was an honor to help in any way and we encourage others in the hospitality industry to do the same” says Mr. Costello. “The Ambassador told us that he wants people to know that Japan is open for business. Tourism has dramatically declined in Tokyo and other areas not effected by the disaster, this is becoming an added burden for them.” Mr. Costello adds that the Ambassador is hopeful that visitors will begin to re-book their travel plans and visit Japan.
